The new proposed TRC at the University of Auckland (UoA) is to be the leading interdisciplinary centre for transportation and logistics research in New Zealand (NZ), aimed at improving and impacting transportation practice in NZ and internationally. The TRC will identify, develop, analyse and help to implement innovative solutions and new technology to persistent traffic and transportation problems. In addition the TRC will attract talented new students to UoA, enhance the teaching and learning, and provide a link between public and private sector organisations linking researchers and students from complementary disciplines.
